Let’s talk about disability inclusion and create spaces where everyone can show up as their “normal”.

Invisible Condition, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging speaker, facilitator, and coach.

Accenture research has shown that 76 percent of employees with disabilities do not fully disclose their disabilities at work. Further, the 2023 DEI report found that only 4.6 percent of employees self-identify their disability status with employers. - Accenture Disability Inclusion Report

Does your organization include disabilities as part of your DEI strategy? If so, yay! But the data shows that most organizations do not! Even though every organization has employees who live with a disability, often they aren’t comfortable disclosing even if they need to or want to!

So, let’s work together and normalize the things that make everyone their normal.

Testimonials

Tim’s session at Procurify was incredible! We appreciated his vulnerability, and his storytelling created a safe and open space that encouraged our team to share their own experiences. The practical approach, which focused on what to say in difficult situations, and the powerful examples made everyone feel more confident and better equipped. Our turnout was higher than usual and the team’s positive feedback was immediate. It’s clear that Tim’s work made a big impact, and we’d love to have him back in the future!
— Trisha Goco, Procurify, People Business Partner, GTM & Operations
“We had a positive experience working with Tim, as a facilitator of a Disabilities Inclusion workshop that we invited people leaders at our organization to attend. The specific focus of the interactive, scenario-based workshop was understanding and supporting non-apparent disabilities in the workplace. Right from the outset, Tim demonstrated a humanized, open-minded, and collaborative approach. Members of our DEI and HR team worked closely with Tim to tailor and co-create the workshop content to develop practical, relatable case studies and examples that our people leaders could identify and resonate with. Tim was very open to our ideas and feedback and helped inform and educate us on various aspects of language, approach and methodology around disability disclosure and inclusive leadership practices. The feedback on the workshop from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive. Folks feel they have gained a deeper understanding of disabilities, inclusive and respectful language they can use, and overall, they feel more equipped in their roles as leaders of teams to navigate and support when someone discloses about their disability. Thank you, Tim, for the impactful work that you do and for being a great collaborator and partner to our team at Moneris.”
— Neetu Sidhu (she/her), Director, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Moneris
We’re so lucky to have Tim come as a keynote speaker at our university event on resilience. He was engaging, authentic, and found a way to really connect with the class through his personal stories. We learned a lot from Tim and would highly recommend reaching out to him if you need a guest speaker.

We had great feedback about our company’s Lunch & Learn with Tim on the topic of Invisible Conditions! Tim’s leadership & vulnerability opens the door to an important conversation. Through the power of sharing, people felt seen and heard, and a little less alone. The session was a great opportunity for us to reflect on the power of our words, and to “Walk a Mile” in one another’s shoes – one of our core values at Squirrel!
— Carla Nordean, Former Director of People & Culture, Squirrel Systems
I really loved both the energy and sense of curiosity that you brought to [our podcast episode]. True curiosity is rare, so that’s a real credit to you.

We had some great discussions about the language we use and how best to break down stigmas. Tim provided lots of great information and knowledge through his PowerPoint and we all learnt so much from the session! I would definitely recommend Tim if you’re looking for someone to discuss invisible illnesses and would recommend checking out his podcast too.
